Yay! . . . and ouch

Well, I finally did it. I got my belly button pierced today. I know it isn't a major piercing, but it's the biggest I've had done. I've wanted it for years but always let my low self-esteem get in the way. Well, fuck it. I'm losing weight and gaining confidence.

Yeah, it's a little sore now. And alcohol really fucking stings.

Is this not uncomfortable? I always think that piercing in the ear is ok and not such a problem but lips, tounges, belly buttons and eyebrows are rather sensitive areas - is this not a weird feeling?

Actually, it's not really painful when they do it. Most people don't have a huge amount of pain receptors in the fleshy skin around their belly button. Add to that the fact that I had just watched all my girlfriends have their nipples pierced (apparently that really hurts). My belly didn't seem like such a big deal. I guess it depends on how much fat you have though. Unless I move in a certain way or if someone pushes against it, I wouldn't even know I had it. As for the other places to get pierced, I'm not that brave, so I don't know. But I'll tell you how it feels when I try to wear normal clothes again. :-)

mrawr. Hehehe I had mine done but I had to get rid of the thing. Bleh I was pissed too. I liked it. Of course that was before I gained such a monumental amount of weight. :/ Oh well, life goes on. How did you like the Royal George?

I loved it. The piercing and the Royal George, I mean. I have to go back and try some more obscure beers. Is the red-haired guy behind the bar actually English or is that accent fake? It seemed to come and go.
