when i think of people who follow the beat of their own drum (i promise, i wasn't trying to make that pun happen) and still pull off cool doing it, you're way high on the list. i love how you are so distinctly an individual no matter how years of westminster social pressures might align with who you want to be.
aside from your enyclopedic knowledge, i think it's really cool how you have kept westminsterites interacting regularly on livejournal. you've been key to a sense of community that spans the entire country.

i think that the way you've gone in and made LJ your own is indicative of a larger drive that you apply to many things you do. it is that drive that's going to get you your place in the movie industry and i really respect it.
what's amazing about you is that you are so talented but you don't need a medal that says Talented on it. you're a skilled actor, violinist (violist also, yes?), and you go to one of the most prestigious schools in the nation but the vibe i pick up from you the most in person is just that of a really genuine and fun guy.
sadly, i haven't been as involved with said "talents" as much as i used to. i haven't picked up the violin or the viola since high school and ive only taken one acting class (and i did better on the papers than on the acting, yeesh)
im thinking a large reunion of all us old farts is in order.
one of the things i tend to keep trying to fix in myself is my tendency to be negative about certain people or situations. i think pretty much every time i see you, you are not just passively ok with things but powerfully cheerful; i think that is really cool and a trait that is going to open a lot of doors for you.
considering how pretty much the rest of the marks hall cult is composed of girls, i've really enjoyed how we can just be guys together. how we can play super nintendo for 11 hours, know how cool *cough* we are, and still both be as game about it at the end as at the beginning. have discussions that would just be weird with the girls.
plus your cool-film-friend status... i love the videos of all our group's good times.
