Mmm, this isn't a drill. You've been taken from your home like many others have and put here. It's called Adstringendum. It's.. what happened after an experiment by a bunch of scientists did failed, if I remember correctly, so... there's a lot of different people from different worlds with all kinds of powers and histories.

That sounds a little hard to swallow, I'm afraid...
[At the first moment he sounds a little exasperated. Then, however, he brightens as he turns around and finally locates and puts on his glasses. When he looks back at her, it's with a wide, warm smile.]
Much better. Thank you very much, Yuna-san. My name is Aizen Sousuke.
Would you perhaps not mind... explaining again, in further detail? It's a bit of an outlandish story, but I'm sure it all makes sense eventually.

Oh, um... I can't really say much more, actually. I mean... I don't think anyone really gets it. But... let's see. [She thinks.]
I was told that a group of scientists tried to do an experiment to, um... discover the meaning of the universe, or something? [That really DOES sound outlandish, but she continues on anyway.] And it failed. Instead, it's messed up all the worlds, and... time and space, and stuff, so now people are just getting taken from their homes and put here.
I don't know if the city's always been so run-down, but even though it doesn't look so good, most of the buildings are pretty stable, I think... We have running water, and awhile ago, we had electricity, too, but for some reason it's stopped, and I don't know if anyone's been trying to restore it.
Every other week, weird things happen here. Last week-- [A small giggle erupts from her.]-- it was raining food! And before that, there were giant... um... turkeys! And before that, no one could sleep... and so on. That's because the environment can be controlled by

Is there no form of organization? It seems like a very difficult sort of place to survive in without order or some sort of leadership. Surely the community has some structure?

Oh, from the house, sorry. Otherwise I'd see about finding him for you. But he'll probably see this eventually. Same world as the rest of you guys then? With the... shinigami-ing and all that?
I'm sure you'll figure it out soon enough, but most of us are from several time periods here - I imagine I'm different from how you remember me as well.

You were pulled unexpectedly from your home as well, I take it?

This place is supposedly some other world?

Yes, so they tell me. The evidence I've seen so far certainly seems to support that assertion.

Ah... I'm sorry. There appear to be many more people here who are familiar with me than I am with them.

It is the nature of this place; time passes oddly.
Though... the glasses are odd.
[She may be allied against him now, but there's enough of her Espada honor left to tactfully not go "wtf why do you have them."]

[A soft embarrassed laughter.]
I think I'll still be wearing glasses then, though. That's just how it is.
