Thirteenth Secret: Unfolding

May 05, 2010 22:56

My condolences to those who have had dear ones taken away. The cruelty of these spirits... really, something must be done...

Repairs on the library are progressing well, I am satisfied to say, although the shelves are in desperate need of sorting. If anyone has an available morning? Books truly are a balm to the soul.

I wouldn't mind sorting books. It would be a welcome distraction.

Indeed it would. Would tomorrow morning suit you?

I think I could clear some time in my schedule.

How have you been?

Wonderful. I shall look forward to it.

I have been well - busy, above all else. The garden is also coming along nicely. I hear that you also have begun on a project.

The Gotei 13 and other people involved with them have come to a decision concerning your person, Aizen Sousuke. I wish to communicate it to you before it is made public.

The people of Adstringendum will be informed about your shikai's true ability, and the extent of the damage your treason brought upon Soul Society. They will be warned about your kidou abilities as well.

That is highly prudent and advisable. As things stand, I can only assume that my developing such abilities will have to do with... well. Will my active cooperation be required?

The library was damaged?

One wing of it, quite severely. A fight between residents... most of the damage is repaired by now, although I fear it is beyond me to restore its former aesthetic.

Of all the troublesome... [Huffsigh.] How inconsiderate of them.

I am not well-versed in the repair of books, but the bloody things will all have to be reshelved.

It is, I suppose, simply in the nature of some. It cannot be helped.

Fortunately, I do have some experience repairing book. Re-shelving them all, and in proper order, however, is definitely a task for more than one.

[Shaving? What's shaving? Sleep? No clue what that is either. Jean only bothers with his PCD when it's someone he cares about these days. Even at that, the subject of it was enough to maybe make him not want to answer - but he knows Aizen's only trying to look out for him. So he thinks at least.]

Yeah.. I'm alright, Sousuke. Found out th'guy lives right around down by your place. Doesn't worry me much though, I guess.

[It doesn't sound too convincing at all, but his look alone would have given him away.]

[Oh boy, this confirms the worst of his suspicions. Telling him not to worry is as effective as telling him to stop dorking; his friend is hurt worse than he had realized, and his voice is more urgent than gentle now.]

You look a fright, Jean-san. What happened? Has he - he has not been harassing you?

[Jean sets his PCD down on his table, sitting down in front of it. The question of 'what happened' is in unison almost too funny, almost too embarrassing to tell in Jean's mind.

With a shake of his head, Jean answers the second question, the part about Gin instead.]

Nope, hasn't talked t'me or directed anythin' t'me since I first tried t'be civil... but I'll tell ya, without liftin' a finger his comin' t'Adstring turned my life upside down n' back over after everythin' fell out. I'm not even sure what all happened or I'd be able t'maybe put it t'gether.

[Jean rubs the scruff that's gathering on his face a bit, as if it doesn't bother him currently to look that way - then stares back at the screen inquisitively.]
He isn't givin' you any problem, right?

[Because that would probably set Jean off.]

[That sounds bad, even while he doesn't completely understand it. Something to do with Rangiku, definitely, something... bad. For everyone involved. Probably for Gin, too, even. At the best of times, romantic adventures leave the shy lieutenant puzzled. At times like these, he's actually a little grateful for that. It looks better than the other option.

Except that he doesn't have any good advice, and that is difficult.]

No, not at all... we have been similarly out of touch. I meant to talk to him, but... I am not too sure of what I could say. I knew him as a little boy...

[Well, he's very much a man now. And getting into appropriate-sized trouble. what to say, what to say?]

Still - there must be something I can do to help.

[Totally watching Gin's portion to this, and others. Not saying a word, nope!]

(ooc: just so ya know, got Kitsu's permission to do so as Ran prograamed his PCD so that she can read only the things he posts. He doesn't know she did this btw. And there isn't anything to show any difference int he PCD between he and anyone he's speaking to. She cannot, however, see what the other person is saying.)

Um, not entirely sure what you mean here ^^""", Ran can read stuff that are filtered to Gin? Or things Gin posts even if they're filtered away from her?

Gin's posts even if they are filtered away from anyone including her.

She programmed his PCD for him Here: http://community.livejournal.com/adstrngndumlog/436463.html

Adding to this that she got the knowledge from Hiiro Yui in trade xD so that anyone reading just this won't think she suddenly became a guru of programming LOL

Edit:
I'll add what the stuff does to something I'll post today on 01's journal. That way there's no confusion, there's other programs he's done too xD so it'll help.
