He's Louis.

OK he's an upgraded Louis.  I mean he's had quite a bit of Lestat's blood.  That no doubt has changed him.

But you had his blood now surely that told you something.

He's had more of it in the past decade or so than he has ever had before! It has changed him in some ways, but beneath it all, I imagine that he is still very much the same creature that he has always been.

I guess I don't, but honestly why not? He seeks self destruction, and you're there to help him with it without really destroying him. It's like fulfilling his mental need with a softer pain, instead of allowing him to hurt himself seriously to seek some kind of redemption in the sun or anything of this sort. I guess in his mind at the moment, he seeks to be punished, and being by your side is his punishment.

But it's true, I don't know you very well. I'll wait for you to change it.

I did attempt to destroy him once, but that opportunity will never come again. It was, shall we say.. a once in an immortal lifetime occasion. Ha. If it is punishment and pain that Louis seeks, I am more than happy to provide him with them.

He's always been self destructive, ma chere. This is nothing new.
