The woes of a wannabe sub*

The good news is that my long-awaited subbing test finally arrived. The bad news is that it's all hard copy, and involves a lot of cutting things to fit and moving sub-headings around so they're in the appropriate places. This is easy on a computer, but difficult on paper - cutting one word in the right place can free up more space than cutting ( Read more... )

You know, without any kind of Carry On snicker, I really did read that title like submissive. The fact that I read it like that and still took it seriously, kinda scares me.

I know the pain of not being able to bag the job you want. I've been applying for new jobs for abnout six months now, and all I have to show for it is a couple of interviews. What really grates is knowing that you have the skills and aptitiude to be successful, but not being able to show it.

Stick at it though, and it'll eventually pay off. At least that's what I'm telling myself.
