Thanks for coming back! I'm glad you're still enjoying the fic. Yes, I'm glad Angelus comes off as truly evil because that's just what he is, even though he's not the evil mastermind character of the story and rather was brought back merely as a means to an end.

Glad you're still with me!

About time! (not the update but Buffy seeing the light. Too bad it took Angelus killing Willow to do it *sigh*)

It is about time for Buffy to see the bigger picture rather than just her own narrow little view of things, isn't it? (But it was about time for an update too haha). I know. It's sad how large of an event had to occur before Buffy was willing to see at least some sort of reason (I doubt she'll give up her stubbornness THAT easily) but I know I have sympathy for her since we have to remember she's a brand new Slayer who's just been told she's the Chosen One...and oh yeah, you probably won't live past 30. It's a lot to handle, needless to say.

Thanks for coming back and reading! I really appreciate it.

Thank you for the congratulations. I am very pleased about it; I mentioned it hoping that would excuse the, in reality, inexcusable amount of time between these last two chapters haha.

I'm really glad that you came back to the story, and that you still were looking forward to reading. I appreciate it so much. Thanks!

Intense is definitely the word of the day. I should be shocked at Angelus killing Willow, but instead I was shouting 'yes'! Too often Angelus is written as being a kind of psychotic puppeteer and he can be, but this is a timely reminder of just how brutal he can be. It's a kick in the gut, but exactly what was needed.

Can't wait to see Spike and Xander resuming their conversation - it's not going to comfortable, that's for sure, and I'm really excited about seeing what you do with Julian and Travers and Cromwell's death from previous chapter.

Great update, hon. It's lovely to see you back.

And congratulations on the degree, that's awesome, and thank you so much for the birthday wishes, that's really sweet of you.

I'm really pleased that you enjoyed the way Angelus was portrayed. I completely agree with what you said: I think it's important to remember that Angelus is a vampire who, by all accounts, was almost unnaturally cruel and vicious, even for his own kind. It's kind of a stark contrast to look at his and Spike's character's side by side since Spike, although he still kills and does things a vampire does, he always kept a semblance of humanity. He has a desire to connect with others that is very human whereas Angelus' primary instinct is to destroy ( ... )

Welcome back!

A timely reminder of just what a bastard Angelus is.
