I need emotional attachment. I need the conversations, the arguements, the feelings... I need the characters to be as real as possible.

^_^ yeah that's exactly it! I mean why would we even care if two characters get together if you don't feel for them or understand them! And of course I had to include your stuff as an example because when I read your stuff I can feel all that you put into, you draw the reader in and give them more than just a cheap thrill by sticking Buffy and Spike in the sack at the get-go...and that's what writing is all about. I think because I'm such a perfectionist with my own stuff it just irks me, you know...

But then I read stuff like yours and I'm reminded why I write and why I love to read fanfiction :) *big big hugs*
