People here in Massachusetts get very worked up over the Red Sox and unfortunately I think I'm one of the few Yankee fans living in Boston that these people know...so they are taking it all out on me...just don't get how people can get so worked up over a game to say the things they have said to me...a friend...or at least I thought I was...

I just don't get how people can take a game so seriously that they would act like this to me. I mean I as just going online to check email and I find these messages and then a bunch on my cell phone. P.S. - The other is that grown men, running around, being sweaty and the groping each other is somewhat gay in my mind and the men I talk to say that it is 'manly stuff'. Major denial if you ask me.
Hehehehe thanks I needed that laugh. Baseball has been the only pro-sport I ever really liked because I played it for so many years myself...but you're right, people getting so worked up over stupid stuff like that...just makes the whole thing seem so dumb.
I just don't get how people can get so worked up over a game! I mean sure I get disappointed if my team loses but that's for all of 5 min. and then I'm over it and I'm not leaving awful messages on my friends' phones...*sigh*...but thanks for the laugh!
