[Medium's staring at a very beautiful tree in bloom. A whoosh, explosion of a bush, and Medium's looking around very, very confused.]

[A bit far off stands 'Dash' staring down at himself and some of the smoke rolling off his body.] Woah...

[She looks around and spots a smoking person.

Who is that? She gives him a very weird look.]

... [Feeling someone's gaze on him he turned back to see who it was.]

... So he gives her a strange look right back.]

[There's a body in his room. A very familiar body. The situation feels familiar in a way. It unsettles him as he puts the small Little G in bed and tucks the sheets around him.]

[Hear that outside? Sounds like an EXPLOSION.]

[Cross sighs as he strides for the bedroom door and kicks it open.] DASH, DID YOU BLOW UP THE COUCH AGAIN?

[He jumps on reflex and looks back at Cross. For a moment he doesn't say anything, but then clears his throat.]

After Medium's thread, somewhere else in the park

Fred was trying to stay as far away from mistletoe as she could today. As a rule, doing that by going to a place where there were lots of plants might be considered a bad plan, but at the very least there were no people anywhere near her. And she had been very careful to look for a mistletoe-free path as she picked her way along the path.

Her hair was still snakey today, but she had gotten used to it. She almost didn't notice when several of the snakes picked up their heads, flicking their tongues back in the direction she had come from, scenting the air.

[He's still trying to get used to this super speed, but it's hard. He finally is able to come to a stop, zooming past some woman just a bit ahead of her. His lips are curled into a great smile.]

Fred shielded her eyes automatically as a blur shot past her. As it came to a halt some little ways in front of her, she blinked her eyes, focused them on the figure... and her eyebrows shot upward in surprise.

Ignoring the snakes--which were furiously hissing their displeasure at getting all tangled up by the wind Dash running by had created--she said, "Dash? I didn't know you could run so fast! Your name certainly fits you."

Damn, who was this girl? She was pretty hot at least, which was a plus. 'Dash' blinked at her and adjusted the goggles on his face.

"Huh-? Oh, yeah! Guess it does."

[Ghost hears the sound of explosions coming from somewhere nearby and despite the voice in the back of his head that's telling him this is a bad idea, he turns and starts heading towards them.]

Man. What's going on now...

[And there is 'Dash', hands on his hips and goggles pushed down on his face. He looks excited as he stares at the results of his latest explosion. He doesn't quite hear Ghost come up behind him.]

[Oh gee. Dash appears to be the cause of the explosions. Man Ghost is so shocked by this strange and unpredictable turn of events.]

Damnit Dash! Quit freaking me out. I thought something was really wrong.

[He reached from behind and smacks the back of Dash's shoulder.]

[The smack made him jump and he almost lashed out at the man for doing so- bad habit. If he wanted to keep this a secret he had to play it cool.]
