I did to a point! Obviously I can't really do it now because DOOMBUTTON, IT IS PUSHED but I've taken her from around the beach chapters. She hasn't had the memory cascade yet, because I haven't figured a way to trigger that in camp, but I try to bring in as much of her later canon developments as I can.

Unfortunately, I'm having to make a lot of extrapolation with Rena at the moment because she's developing, but I'm not quite sure what she's going to develop into. She's definitely opened up! The side of Rena that Youhei sees is now one she shows more to the world rather than her actively closing people out, and Riku's definitely gotten through to her. But I'm not sure how that's going to play out.

Also I so want to do a memory cascade in camp one day. It would be amazing.

Colette ... pities Mithos. She sees Lloyd in him, in that they're both brave, charismatic firebrands who convert people over to their crusades. But she also sees Mithos as being weaker than Lloyd in that he doesn't just want to be accepted, he's turned that desire for acceptance into a judgment that no-one else deserves to exist in case they don't accept him later ( ... )

Emil is scared of Mithos. Mithos basically got past all the development that Emil has done over the course of the game and hit the kid who whimpers that his uncle's going to beat him again and he's scared. He's stronger, he's got magic, he's known as an amazing swordsman, and Mithos the Hero hates him. It's like confirming all his feelings about how he's not worthy of being liked and then some. It did his confidence in like nothing else, because man, you know you're worth nothing if the hero of your world hates your guts ( ... )

Ronan thinks that Near is hilarious fun to dick around with. He's very ... serious and kind of straight-laced. But moreover he's also very fixed in how he views things sometimes? So he likes to make him squirm because a) making people squirm is funny and b) he's hoping to kind of make Near a little more intuitive because he seems kind of rigid. And that can't be healthy.

Estonia
Ronan has been to Estonia! He is not surprised that Estonia is a geeky dude that has glasses and ships him/laptop. He is surprised that he doesn't know that there is countryslash going on. So he's going to remind him about that whenever possible because making countries squirm ranks pretty high up there on awesome things Ronan wants to do.

Rena has NO IDEA how she can be so blase about her cabinmates' underwear. She was entirely scandalised by how she's all "oh yes, these are my cabinmates" about thongs and the like. She's quite used to the weird now in camp, so the idea of a huge-ass kinkbunny walking around is not that strange to her, and hell, Rena wears about as much clothing when she fights too.

also my characters must meet Cuthbert at some point.

HAHAHA this one is complicated.

First up, I have to date Ronan. The first time Ronan appears in the books, it's 1993 and the Troubles are still in full swing. So Ronan dislikes the English because of that! There's this conflict going on and it's messy and it's violent and it involves people that Ronan actually knows through wizardry and presumably family too and it sucks. He's frustrated and upset that there's nothing he can do and so he thinks that had everyone just left Ireland alone, it could have sorted itself out. So he has this superficial smouldering gtfo out of my country to well. everyone. England just gets the brunt of it because England's ties to Ireland are a lot closer. So he has Opinions about the English! And England! And how they should leave his country alone!

...except that it's not everything. Ronan's Ordeal was, essentially, the Powers forcing him to look at his prejudices and ask himself "do you really believe that everyone should be forced to stay out of Ireland? Are you willing to let people die for ( ... )

Sex with Ronan was an awkward affair all around. Firstly, there was the fact that he sixteen -- a fact that made England wonder whether Ireland still had those rules about anal sex and being eighteen. Secondly, he was certain that Ronan was trying to get him to say things in his strange language that he did not want to say ever. Third, he was prone to moody silences and ... well, sulking.

"What do you think you're doing?" Arthur snapped, after the moment of silence stretched out too long.

"Thinking," Ronan replied absently. He had stolen all of the blankets too, Arthur noted in annoyance. He honestly had no idea why he put up with him. America thought it was funny, the arsehole.

"About how you think you conquered me, no doubt," was the tart retort as Arthur contemplated the best angle to kick Ronan in the ribs ( ... )

Emil genuinely feels bad for him. It sucks to want to lead a normal life and instead you can't because you're different. Power, Emil's realised, means that you don't get to live a normal life. Colette, the person who he's referring to in the thread, is someone who spends all of her life avoiding assassination attempts XD.

He kind of wishes that he could help Haruka feel better about stuff. He's not very confident in himself, so he sort of tries and then feels awkward and then doesn't do it again. But he wants to help him because it seems like Haruka needs someone to be strong for him and tell him "it's okay to be sad. It's okay to want your own life. It's okay to try and get that life, and I'll do what I can to help you get that". Emil's good at affirming other people in that sense, and he thinks that Haruka needs that.

YuiSO YOU HAVE SEEN TOS2 and Marta is very important to Emil! As the game progresses, she gets revealed as more vulnerable than she let on ... and honestly to Emil, Yui comes across as a far weaker ( ... )

...dude, so weird. but funny! Tsunderes are fun to poke because they flail. And that's about it. He is a little bemused about the fact that a conversation he dreamed about, someone else knows of, but just shrugs it off as "camp is weird". Or he was precognitive. One of those.

OzOz, in a way, frustrates Ronan because Oz thinks his life is worth nothing, and Ronan can tell him exactly how much his life is actually worth. He's cheerful and he smiles but Ronan knows how fake it is, and it kind of makes him squirm a little when he sees Oz try and be fake. Because he knows the truth, and the fact that Oz lies to so many people about it means he never heals from the trauma ( ... )

Casshern

Casshern had better taken responsibility for looking after Ringo dammit. Ringo reminds Rena of herself despite having never met her, and she is incredibly in debt to her mentor. So Casshern had better shape up and look after her or else she will crush his non-existent balls. :)
