More Fire Emblem (Sorry guys, ignore this)

Playing Fire Emblem makes me think that I'd be really good at chess. If chess had little axe fighters instead of castles, and the knights were red and green. Also if I could take twenty minutes deciding where to move my bishop, and then swear a lot when he gets mauled by pirates because Eliwood didn't protect him right.

I know I'm pretty out of touch with games, but is this a new fire emblem game? Is it for DS or what? I played one of the fire emblem games on one the gameboy systems and really liked it.

Oh, the new one! It's actually a remake of the original Fire Emblem for the Famicom (the one featuring Marth) that was never released in the US. It was released a few weeks ago in Japan, but there's no set US release date for it over here. I really, really hope they release it here, as I need more Fire Emblem :)

And also, because I forgot to mention it in my fangirling, no, this isn't the new one, unfortunately :) It's actually the first one for the Game Boy Advance, which is just called Fire Emblem, I think. The Japanese subtitle was "Rekka no Ken," and most sites have it as "The Blazing Sword," or something like that. At least, that's what I gather :)

Well that would explain why I recognized some of the names. I didn't think they used the same characters in multiple games, but anyway, I really liked that game, too. Maybe I'll check out the "new" one here in Japan.
