Sometimes it takes an event or situation that is out of the ordinary to see the reality of someone (yourself included). It is in these moments of naked truth that we see the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I am still here, alive and mostly well. I am on a neverending quest for motivation. I have been doing well though... No one really knows any better than anyone else what the rhyme or reason to life is. Nothing is clear, nothing is constant, and life is full of surprises. Went to Chicago for a few days with some friends (Mark, Chuck, Pardeep) and it made me realize that I really need to do something with my life. I really like it there, I felt like there was so much life, so much happening, so many people doing so many different things. I need to do more, I need to find a job, I need to DO something. It's so wierd to grow up...to change, to learn. You feel like "yep, this is me" and then five years later you look at a picture and say "wow, who WAS that? I am not like that at all..."
