Obviously.

All joking aside, I need some advice.

Back in December I order a necklace from this website. It was a Christmas present from "the DH" to "me" (i.e. I bought it and told Jaws "Thank you for my present!". :P) I didn't order it before their Christmas deadline, so I knew it wouldn't arrive until sometime in January ( Read more... )

help, grrr

Call UPS with your tracking number. The tracking information on their website can only tell you so much. Customer service might have better luck with their tools and might even ship from Wisconsin or wherever they accidentally shipped it to (sorey, I shouldn't take my hatred of DHL out on UPS; UPS are generally very good at, you know, shipping things without losing them) free.

And you should definitely complain on the website where you purchased the item about the recommendation that you purchase shipping protection but no visible option at check-out to actually select it (I also looked just to back you up, and yup, zippo!)

Good luck!

Unfortunately, the shipper isn't UPS- it's USPS, the Post Office. I just called their customer service number for those that have a track and confirmation number and it couldn't be found in the system! And even though the website says you can call until 10:30EST, all the realt people are gone. Grrr... I'll try calling tomorrow.

Talk to the USPS.

If that fails, drop another line to the company explaining what happened and see if she's willing to work with you at all. . . but tell her you need an answer by the 17th.

If nothing by the 17th, call PayPal and see what you can do.

*hugs*
