My necklace came today and it's just as lovely as I had hoped. Jaws did good. ;) I'm so happy that I can be a repeat customer to this lady because I want to get the girls each a birthstone necklace for their Easter Baskets ( Read more... )

My tendency to Christmas shop late every year makes the Amazon Prime more than worth it for me. It's also really nice for "ship as soon as available".

However, I will caution and say that I suspect I do a bit more impulse buying when I know I'll get the book or DVD or whatever speedy quick.

Hmmm...good point on the impulse shopping. But then again, a lot of my Amazon impulse buying is to get to the $25 mark.

*nods*

For example, there is a series that I am reading, that I've decided I definitely want to own, and I made it through the most recent two faster than expected and I only have the next one in my possession at the moment. So, last night I ordered the next two after that and they'll be here Monday! :D

I've got no feedback about Amazon (none of their free delivery deals have ever applied to me, I think), but I want to say that those necklaces are gorgeous! I love them.

Thank you! They are pretty, aren't they? They ship internationally, too!

I have an Amazon Prime account, and I adore it! The best part is that you can add up to four other people/accounts to your Prime account, so my parents and brother and sister all share it (and the cost) with me. Definitely worth $20 a year. :D

Ooh, I didn't know about the sharing part! Maybe my mom would be interested...

I love Amazon Prime! I signed up for it when I was in grad school, because I would frequently only find out which classes I got, and therefore which textbooks I needed, during the first week of class. The school bookstore had higher prices and they could never get the stuff to you in time, so it was totally worth it to me. Now I've gotten used to it and I don't know if I could give it up. :)

That's what I'm afraid of, that I'll love it too much, and books will be arriving constantly. ;)

When I did the paralegal thing, I ordered nearly all my books from Amazon, but because they came from different sellers, I didn't get the free shipping. So I tried Amazon Prime's trial, and it took three weeks for the books to come. But that could have been because of the random sellers.

Yeah, the Prime doesn't help with the other sellers, unfortunately :(

Yeah, I knew that the second party shippers don't usually fall under Amazon's shipping policies. It's a bummer, too.
