Sorry we missed your call! Why do you think Cryptosporidia? If there is no diarrhea, that's not it and even if there is, its a bit more unusual. Loss of appetite, weight loss and lethargy are symptoms of lots of things. Good luck with him. :(
Also, I don't think you should pressure yourself into taking the new job. That's my obvious 2 cents, but I don't think more money is woth compromising daily happiness. You can never have enough money. At least give yourself time to be sure.
no problem, we called late! i was thinking crypto because of his symptoms. some stuff i found on the net said that they dont always have the diarrhea part. i dunno. i guess well see. what else do you think it could be? does it seem worth it to take him to the vet? i dunno about the job thing. i dont really think i have a choice in the end. i think i need to make the family decision and take it if its offered. but well see. but i totally see your point and its validity. mumble mumble. are you and the mat and the gid free any nights this week for a visit? maybe the weekend? let us know. we miss you!
Yeah, its not certainly impossible, I'd just not want you to be overly worried since Crypto is so contagious...
I dunno about the vet, it becomes a tough call because generally speaking, when you see symptoms things are already progressed and he is over 10... not the max life span, but still up there... its totally up to you. Does your vet see exotics? We were just referred to Glenolden animal hosp by our vet for our bunny neuter and they seem to have a big exotics practice. It's tough, I wish I had done more for Otto, but I sort of doubt there was much to do. We're going to make one group out of the 3 we have left.
Yes! Come visit! We need to go grocery shopping some night, but we're flexible. The weekend is free so far too. We'd love to see you. It has been TOO LONG.
