At least three separate problems with my new Internet beyond my control, including having them destroy my front yard, and two power outages on campus fucking my Internet up there.

Did you get the fiber optics thing? My brother was beggin my mom for that but she said no because it was more expensive. Then she looked at our Verizon bill and realized that they'd started charging us $8 more a month for DSL than we thought we were paying, so it's actually the one that'd more expensive. So we'll probably switch at some point. ^_^

*nods* Yeah, I think that's what we got. I think it's called FIOS? Anyway, they destroyed the front yard. Then it was only supposed to be a few hours, and it ended up being almost the whole day. Since that, it's already gone down like once for a whole evening...it's still working out the kinks, I do believe.

Did they have to tear up your front yard just so you could get it, or when they were installing it for the whole neighborhood? Because I know they already tore a million holes in the sidewalks around here. I figured if we sign up we already have access after all of that. Isn't is faster than DSL though?

I doubt I'll make that party. I will be recovering from a 16 hour time change. ^_^ And my parents are selling my car so I'll be confined to home the whole summer until they buy me a new one.

I think they tore up our yard specifically for us, but I don't know if they've like, installed stuff in all the neighborhoods now or what. No idea, but it is supposed to be faster.

Oh that's right. You're leaving. :) Well enjoy the trip. And awww. I'm gonna miss the creaky window....okay, probably not.
