Also, having tech experience, if you go into acting you will be able to be around until you get in, which is exactly what I'm doing. I'm making money doing tech until I make my break. Also, if you're a really good designer, you make hella good money. But be aware, doing proffesional tech may break you mentally and emotionally, or it will give you the perfect frame of mind for the business. That's about all the advice I can offer with my limited experience. I hope you make it, and I hope we work together someday.
