oh, this is so awesome!!! i really really like how you are balancing the sex, emotions, and action, it works really well. and the twist at the end was brilliant, although not completely unexpected. well, they were making out and when pete woke up a newly formed vampire with a clear understanding that he had been killed and brought back to life and was now un-dead and had superhuman strength, he caught them off guard by flinging ryan across the room and i dunno, drop kicking brendon or something equally awesome and then proceeding to jump out of the window

Oh, that makes a lot more sense, it seemed pretty random the way I interpreted it. I think the use of pronouns in this sentence threw me off:

"they leave him in an upstairs bedroom with ryan and to watch over him (they spend most of the time making out instead of doing any actual watching) and gabe volunteers to wake maja up since she's less likely to bite his head off."

thanks for explaining. I had thought maybe pete was being sneaky and had a plan to sex ryan up and then escape, but that makes a lot less sense. cool.

you're right, the pronouns get kind of hard to work out when you have a virtually all male cast ugh

but when a human gets turned there is generally this period of adjustment, that's why gabe and william brought him back to the manor. ryan and brendon were in charge of watching him to make sure he didn't wake up and freak out (which he did) and if he needed more blood or whatever they could give it to him
