I do somewhat exist...
So, the deal with the house fell through; the sellers either got cold feet or, more likely from what we experienced, were insane. We were disappointed for a few days. Then we went looking again...And found a house to make an offer on. Our offer was accepted the very next day. We must've offered too much is my guess. However, Lisa and I both were willing to pay what we offered and the house appraises for more than that, so... no harm, no foul. We close the end of May (we still have this apartment leased until the end of July - sigh) That will give us 2 months to rip out the carpet and install bamboo flooring and do any other thing we want to the house before we -have- to be moved out of here.
So, Squishy, what is up with you? Did you get the job? Are you still a state employee?
