The insidious thing about evil is that it often lurks below the threshold of notice for long periods of time. After enough time has passed, most people will assume that the evil that has plagued them has gone, never to return. They forget that it even ever really existed. Of course, when ignored or forgotten over time, evil loses its power.

That power is twofold: it corrupts our own sense of self, but it also teaches us valuable lessons in avoidance.

Oh, I'm not too bothered by it, just a small jolt that came and went. I was mostly being ... sardonic? Is that the right word? What bothered me more, to be honest, was Lore's silly little misinformed comment. Eh, well, what can you say when things don't fit into nice little anime caricatures...

So-called evil hadn't given you a second thought (beyond hoping you were doing well) in many years. Didn't even know you were on LJ, and wouldn't have, except that I got your snarky comment today. I suggest you take medzor's advice.
