Sorry I have waited so long to do this.

I'm Debbie, and along with joanie_dearest5 want to welcome you to our little group. We are really excited to have this up and running and hope you all jump right in and start posting. This should be a fun place for Dixie fans to share the love and talk about Dixie, her life and her career

Ok well Debbie honey, you know my story! lol! But for those that don't, I too have had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Miss Dixie, about a year ago now as a matter of fact!

She was at my college campus for a free public interview (free for students since it was in one of our little auditoriums!) and a little reception afterwards. My friend and I got front row for the interview, and met Dixie briefly afterward, during which time she mentioned the fact that she recognized us from the front row and called us cutie pies! I got a picture with her, and I don't think it's on this computer or I would post it here! I sent a copy of it to her with a letter, thanking her for everything and gushing mildly! lol But she sent the picture back to me, and on it was written "Dear Caileigh-you are a terrific young lady!" then her signature--I can't tell you guys how happy I was to get that!! And I can only hope that I get to see her in person again some day! :D

And the fact she called you "Cutie Pies" is a total Dixie thing to do.

That's a great story and you will always treasure it, Doll! And I can promise you, you WILL meet her again. I know I've said it to you before, but I WILL make it happen!

I know you do!! hehe And knowing at the same time that you know Dixie and how she is, it means even more to me that you love it! lol ;)
I know I will always treasure my first Dixie encounter!! And the ones to come especially, because then you'll be there too! :D
