Dilemma...

Feb 27, 2009 10:04

I have been making this flight to and fro for awhile now... it never fails that LAX searches my bag... Is it polite to leave a note in my bag, gently requested the TSA to not squeeze toothpaste or leave my contact bottles in such a way as to soak the innards of my bad?

Or, am I just looking for trouble?

I'm pretty sure you aren't staying in several places when you visit, couldn't you just leave that stuff at the place you are visiting?

Remember how Eric had a box? That box of toiletries he didn't have lug from SF to LA? He still has a box and he lives 10 minutes away. Why do you not have a box, or a drawer? At least for stuff like toothpaste and contact solution. And I'm sure D will share his toothpaste if you smile enough!

I understand doubling up on skin care products might be cost prohibitive. In which case they do make little travel containers...then you wouldn't need to check luggage at all. Says the girl who took a suitcase of shoes on her first trip to Ireland, but has since pretty much mastered the carry-on! :)
