Huh...

To be fair, if you even know me, you will see HST a lot. I mean, when we throw parties, we call them "Fear and Loathing" parties, because we hang a ramshackle sign on the front door that says "The Fear and Loathing", as a sort of joke on British pub signs.

Once I started gardening, suddenly I'm seeing plants all over the place-- on the side of the road, in people's yards, creeping up the sides of abandoned buildings.

That kind of thing happens to me a lot with words. I learn a new word, and then hear it and read it everywhere, as if everyone else learnt it at the same time. Most likely, I just didn't even notice the word because I didn't know what it means, but I'm surprised that I never noticed not knowing its meaning, if that makes sense. (I believe there's actually a word for this phenomenon, but I don't know that, either. =P )

Anyhoo, I finally got around to adding you to my friends list. I'm an LJ anti-lurker; I write a lot but don't read much. I hope to keep in touch anyhow.

I was happy to read about Be Nice, too. Congrats!

Cheers,
Mik. (From the Gawain crowd.)

I think it is similar to the car phenomenon... when you buy car, all of a sudden, it is like all the cars on the road are that car.

It's okay, I go through phases... I will do a lot, then not so much... *shrug*

Thanks! We are working on the poster, and should be able to post that by the end of the month along with a few other announcements... it's exciting and fun!!
