Mini Sewing Machine

i was thinking of purchasing either the Hobbycraft Mini sewing machine or the JML Easy stitch as they are nice and cheap and i need a sewing machine desperately. do you think that these sewing machines would be able to sew through waterproof nylon fabric and/or 4 layers of terry towelling? thanks

I picked up an Easy Stitch a few years back and ended up taking it back within a couple days and buying the cheapest Singer the store had. The Easy Stitch was not easy to use and the stitches kept pulling right out. This is the newest version of the sewing machine I have and I've used it to sew through up to 3 layers of marine vinyl.
