Some, if not most of you, already know about this awesome campaign hosted by the fabulously amazing Kat Brauer. She teaches, she bakes, she crits, she lives in Japan, AND she’s saving the world a drop of water at a time! (Kat - you are sort of living my dream life!)

Wow, what a great post, lady! So heartfelt, and such an interesting experience. I've never been in a situation where I had difficulty finding clean water, not even when I lived in China. I can't even imagine it, which is a bit sad, when I think about it. I'm just glad we can make a difference together. :D :D :D

Wow, thanks so much for your kind words, Kat! *blushes* I just hope, at the very least, that this post raises awareness about the plight of others.

And yeah, those two days experience without running water gave me some perspective of what those people were going through.

YOU are made all of sorts of awesome, btw. I hope you know that. I'm just so so glad to be a part of it! <3<3<3

I saw that you won Sarah's auction! Congrats! <3. I bet she's gonna leave FABULOUS remarks. Haha. And oh man. No water. I dunno what I'd do without it. T_T.

Blergh...going without water for two days was NO FUN at all. It honestly boggles me that being without water is a reality for some.

And wahoooo I won the auction! *happy jig*

...But...I'm so completely nervous about getting her crits. Obviously she's a writer I respect very much, and ugh, I just want to impress her, you know?

SO NERVOUSSSSS!!!

Her Crits for Water campaign is amaaazing, truly, it blows me away. Water is one of my favorite things ever, and I drink a bizarre amount of it every day--the idea of not having it alone feels like torture! I think it's really neat that you shared what it was like trying to vastly conserve what you use and consume. I'm not sure I could do it.
