It turns out that my calendar-reading skills are made of weapons-grade fail, and so the family are back on Friday, not Saturday as I originally thought.

Conflicting emotions:
Happy: yay, I'll see them a day sooner!
Anxious: crap, I hope I'll have the house sorted in time.
