New Ink- 56k Warning
Got some work done on my leg while in Las Vegas. Pics behind the cut.
For those of you who know me (there are a couple of people out there that read my LJ that I do not know), you know that I already had the Japanese characters "Strength in Pain" going down the side of my left leg. Well, I finally found an artist that I really liked. I thought that he could pull off what was in my head, so it was hard to pass up the oppurtunity. He added to the existing tattoo, which is what I wanted. I have pretty much decided on keeping my left leg a Japanese theme, and have had the hardest time thinking of a way to integrate my existing ink with new work. If you ask me, the guy did a hell of a job. Apparently he thought so too, because this is the first time I have had an artist take a picture of a tattoo that he just did. Oh, and it was completely freehanded. He just took a couple of Sharpies and drew on my leg, and then tattooed it. I have an original on my leg that no one else in the world has, which is really badass in my opinion. I have a couple of ideas for future work, but don't have the money right now to pull it off. I'll probably get more done once I start working. I hear that D.C. and Baltimore have good artists. Anywho...here ya go.
