Despite not having produced any lovely snupin in too long of a while, I managed to inspire a few people into writing some! (Yay multi-fandom prompt comms!)

Why I'm reccing: I gave the summary as a prompt with Lupin/Snape as part of the rounds_of_kink fest. And I got this loverly fic! It's set during POA, but after Snape gets insulted by the Marauder's Map. What I really love is how ambiguous on who has control in this "relationship". Very nice!

Why I'm reccing: comment_fic has daily prompt themes, and I couldn't resist prompting the above. Was happy to get this ficlet as a response and just love the bit angst that goes through it. From Marauder era to POA. The poor boys!
X-Men(First Class)
So I haven't really found much X:FC stuff that I've really liked. A few ficlets here and there and some really good tumblr graphics or art. I think it's because I've been an X-Men fan for so long, with the comics and cartoons. And even if I hadn't actively started shipping Erik/Charles till the movies, their relationship must be true to them and the canon.

Why I'm reccing: Beautiful song choice and lovely editing of not just the new movie but of the three previous so we can see how Erik & Charles' relationship has evolved through the years and how despite it all, they still have the same regards for each other. It's more of a character study of Erik but he was so influenced by Charles that you can see it clearly here.
Assassin's Creed II
And, because I volunteered to beta wook's AC BB, I got resucked into that verse. So I'm itching to go back to finishing Assassin's Creed II (yeah I know I know) and of course get to Brotherhood (OMG the dlcs!). And man am I back in love with Ezio/Leonardo so a couple of recs there.

Maria Auditore hadn't a clue that when she invited Leonardo da Vinci, wolf conservationist, to Florence, in the heart of the Arizona territory, that old rivalries and grudges would flare into life. Ezio finds himself dealing with the fallout of his mother's actions, not only of the wolf conservation but also with the wolf conservationist himself as long-suppressed desires flare to life.
Why I'm reccing: It's amazing how much information and storyline comes through in such a shortish fic! I love it. You really get a feel for the characters in this new setting and see how they'd come together. Of course it's a lot easier if you've played the game, heh. I kinda also love how Leonardo isn't extremely femme here, as I've noticed in a few AUs he becomes. So great characterization!

Why I'm reccing: In the notes, a slightly better summary is given, basically Leonardo ends up drawing a masked Ezio and not knowing it's him. This fic is hot, and sweet, and so very in character. Even if you've never played the game but only given the briefest of gists, I think you will enjoy this. Definitely one of my favorites.

Why I'm reccing: Although a pwp, I really love the characterization here, showing off how clueless and cute Ezio is while truly showing how much more worldly Leonardo is. It's also kind of funny and sweet among the hotness that is this fic.

Summary: Esposito finds out that maybe he doesn't know his best friend as well as he thought he did.
Why I'm reccing: One word: cross dressing! Really high on my list of iron-clad kinks! And while I never thought about it for this pairing, I'm glad someone did and decided to write! It's not completely perfect in terms of characterization but it is kind of hard especially with this kink but damn is it nearly perfect. I love both boys here and how easy it is to visualize what's going on and just completely draws you in.
Star Trek
So this final rec is a bit selfish as the art drawn was for me... But omg it's all great and fantastic!
kilala10 made an art offer post and I couldn't resist but ask for an art piece or two (or three XD) and she delivered superbly! Hee! To comment on these and the couple of other nice arts she made, you can here.
As I'm always in a steampunk mood, I asked for a "steamy" steampunk au of Kirk/McCoy and boy did she deliver! I say rated Hard R as no bits are showing but very telling of what's going on: "Steamy" (Really tempted to write something based on this, hee)
I also requested fan art based on last year's Star Trek BB that lauriegilbert and I wrote, Whenever I'm With You, and she drew a fantastic version of the diner scene (Rated G)! Just love the little details and the expressions and yeah... XD
Finally! Couldn't help but ask for some more cross dressing. Cross dressing!Sulu actually as that's been on my mind of late. I'm definitely going to write at least a drabble for this, as it's too cute! Chekov/Sulu (Rated G)
