I had my first scan today and it was only a mini scan but it was enough to see my baby move kick, suck its thumb and swim about inside me, it was the most amazing experience ever! As I suspected the doctor found that i am a few weeks later in pregnancy than i thought, she discovered this when she told me that we wouldnt see much on a mini scan and

that's so cool, at least you're not having a litter eh?? :) it's probably actually dating back to the month before,coz remember it was an odd one the month later. although, geez! never trusting pregnancy tests again! you must have been nearly 2 months gone by the time it showed, not the 2 weeks they promise it shows by!
it's cool you could see it, i hear people rarely can make it out and just have to nod and smile! (sex & the city- miranda faking a sonogram!) i knew ste would cry, big softy!! were you given a printout or will you get that at the next one?

Ahh that's so exciting! I'm so happy for you. At least you found out you were later than expected THAT way instead of just having the baby come early. Let me know what you think of naming it!!
Its so nice to know the father is just as excited as you are...it seems like the epiphony of perfect as of now!
