I know what you mean about Asian people. There were a lot (mostly Chinese or Korean, but a few Japanese) at my college too, and it took some time to get them all sorted.

That's great that your church reaches out to foreign kids, and that there's already been such reception!

Yep, New England is great! *wink* 'Cept spring's coming here, and it's very welcome. Here in CT, we don't have the snow that many places north of us (or west, even) do, and for that I'm thankful. Our days have been in the 40s, and it's only getting warmer.

We get maybe one snow fall a year, and that is like, 2 cm if we're lucky! :-P I love spring - it's my favourite month.

LOL, nope... Elizabeth just doesn't know her months of the year :-D I don't think we got any days over about 25 this summer... Possibly she means that spring is really short here because winter lasts so long though. Dunno. It snowed on the 22nd of November in Armidale two years ago. Yep... it's not exactly a warm place ;-)
