We've had a fabulous O'Week at UNE this week, and it was really encouraging to see our new Christian Student Group - UNitEdinc (United In Christ) - up and running! We had about 20 new Christian students put their names down, people ( Read more... )

Cool video... saw it on your facebook! I like the fact that you didn't try make the video fancier than you were able. I saw a church-made video the other day where they tried to be really professional and it just came out silly!

Thanks Fran :D It's good to know we don't seem like we're trying to be more than we are!

And it was very exciting to get this comment from you! Keep it up!

I know hey! The t shirts and banners really add to our presence I think - it's amazing what a bit of marketing will do :)

It looks excellent. I thought the vid was good too, he put it across in such a relaxed, intriguing, 'un-frightening' way. It's exciting to hear what you guys are doing for Christ on your campus. God knows they need more things like this happening. I'm sure you've heard all the statistics on young people leaving the faith once they hit collage. You guys are doing an awesome thing. All the best! God bless!

Thanks Elizabeth :) I'm glad you got that impression from the video, because relaxing and un-frightening is exactly what we're aiming for! It's really exciting that we're able to do this at campus, because you are exactly right about the uni lifestyle being so distracting. One of our regular activities is cooking a bbq at the UNE bistro every Wednesday night from 9:30 til midnight. I went up last night and it was great being able to be up there, dancing and having fun while sober and making friends with lots of students we would otherwise not meet.

That is totally awesome. I'm really excited to hear that it's going well. Food is a great way to attract collage students huh? :) It's so great that your showing them that you can be sober and still have fun. You guys are doing so AWESOMELY. I'll be praying.
