So, this morning, I decided to be proactive after I woke up. I called Virginia Mason to see what they were missing....which was a lot. Apparently Valley Med didn't send over my complete file so they were missing my dietitian results and the psych evaluation. This lead to:
-Me calling Valley Med for the records, only to find out that they had closed that part of the hospital (earlier than the January closing date)
- Calling around for the number for the records department (I was on the phone with four different people for over an hour total, part of it on hold)
-Them faxing me the medical records release to sign
-Me faxing it back, signed
-Them calling me to let me know they cannot find the part of my records that are missing. HOW CAN THEY LOSE MY RECORDS???!!!
-Me hanging up the phone and cursing and screaming and crying
-Composing myself
-Calling the psych myself to get him to send my records directly to Virginia Mason and not to Valley Med
- Calling Virginia Mason to tell them that Valley Med lost those records. Was assured that Virginia Mason was searching everything to make sure they weren't misplaced on the receiving end
- Calling Valley Med with instructions to be called back tomorrow to see if they found my files
THEN I went to my dietitian, and she had a good excuse for not sending my files last week (she was at a funeral). According to her, I am doing very well with my diet, and am ready to go for surgery as far as eating/exercising goes.
Oh, and Bandwidth Advisors called, they decided that, as much as they want to hire me, business is a lot slower than expected because of the economic downturn so they aren't hiring anyone at all right now. THANKS FOR WASTING TWO MONTHS OF MY TIME ASSHOLES! But, what I really said was "Oh, well I am sorry that your business is doing so poorly that you cannot afford to hire more people at this time. Good luck with that."
I just want to eat dinner and kill some dwarves in Warhammer tonight...
