I like the idea and how you play with type here. It gave me a bit of a zombie feel. Very cool.

Thanks! I pictured ghosts in my head, but it'll be fun to see what different images people come up with. I left it very vague :D

I also noticed this morning that on my desktop instead of my laptop, the first and last set of lines were invisible so darkened them up a bit. If this one becomes my choice of entry for this week, I'll have to note in a comment that highlighting the whole thing makes it easier to read without the colors.

This made me think of a super-cool friend whose parents kind of forced her into their cult when she turned eighteen. She wouldn't/couldn't talk to me anymore after that. What really stung was that she was okay with it.

Wow, that sucks :( Cults creep me out, cause it seems so easy for them to absorb people for unknown reasons.

I really like the "we are Legion for we are many" feel to it.

I don't know if I thought ghosts or aliens, although alien might be closer. It felt more like a soul-sucking demonic entity, devouring the living so that it/they may feel the essence of life before the prey becomes part of the oneness, the sameness.

Soul-sucking Cyborg maybe? ;)

I have to agree with the first commenter that this felt very sinister and zombie-like. It reminds me of some assimilated mob overtaking someone.
