I realized recently that I haven't updated this note at all lately, so I thought I should take a stab at it.
As I approach one million words written (and I still can't believe that's real, even as I type it), I'm planning on posting some entries introducing myself and my fandom loves. I also plan to post a retrospective of my work so far, including some of my favorites. I also have every intention of posting a fic-rec list at some point. I just have to finish making the list (no small task, since there's a ton of really great stuff out there).
The same warnings and disclaimers still apply to all stories I write. All of the shows/movies/books featured here belong to their respective studios/creators/writers. I make no money from this. I do this for fun and for practice. Mostly for fun.
If you'd like to come visit my stories online, stop by
Archive of Our Own or
Fanfiction.net and check out what I've got posted there. Be aware that I've stopped posting to Fanfiction.net; I only posted there in a few fandoms, so the widest selection of fandoms and stories has always been on AO3.
As a general rule, I love when you comment on my work. It's probably not going to change my mind about doing the sequel (or not doing it, which is far more likely to be the case), but it's nice to know that you loved something I wrote. Please be warned, however, that I don't tolerate or respond to people who complain about what I've written. I put warnings and tags on all my stories so you don't have to read something you don't want to. If you choose to anyway, well... /shrugs/ Not much I can do. So please, be kind, as your kindergarten teacher taught you. We'll all get along better if you do.
Also, a word about requests and plot bunnies: I have a file on my computer that is full to overflowing with ideas, therefore I don't really have room to adopt yours. My Muse is also a fickle little wench; she has to absolutely love an idea in order for me to write it. As for requests, unless I've offered to write you a story, I'm probably not going to write whatever you ask me for. Again, see the thing about the fickle Muse. It's not that I don't appreciate your enthusiasm for my writing, it's more that I have precious little time in my life (what with family and work and other commitments) to write the ideas I do have. That's not to say I never will, just to warn you that it's not too likely.
Feel free to stop by with questions and comments, or fic recs, or whatever. See you soon!
