...totally sucked. I was completely disappointed especially after being excited that Venom was to be one of the villains in this one.  That being said, Topher Grace's turn as Venom was actually pretty good. The makeup, effects, and costuming were good. Peter Parker's metamorphosis into an emo-looking, egomaniacal, Pete Wentz/Jared Leto lookalike

oh man this sucks. its sucks what i read everywhere about it. but considering we still haven't even seen 300 yet, the chances of us actually seeing spiderman 3 in the theater are slim to none.

No problem. It really was a letdown. I was so upset. I'd actually be curious to what another movie buff we know thinks about it but I won't ask.

i've boycotted all three of the spiderman films. i don't believe comic books should be edited as much as spidey was for the movies...

I boycotted the second one. I liked the first one though. This one was crap.

I agree, the movie never ended...

Venom is Nate's favorite comic book character--he has a glass case full of Venom stuff. He thought Venom in the movie was cool, except for his voice. It sucked that Venom had this shrill, supernatural scream, but when he talked, he still had Topher Grace's voice. He wasn't in the movie nearly enough.

Nate's description of the entire movie was: "pussified"

I agree with that. I didn't think of it til you said but the shrill scream was really cool and it would have been better if the speaking voice matched it.
