I want some carpet tiles (like Flor or similar), but retail prices are silly.
Do I know anyone with Friends In The Carpet Business?
Has anyone tried DirectBuy?

My dad works with some people in the flooring industry, but the main business he works with doesn't carry carpet tiles, and they're going out of business. He says a lot of places like that are really hurting lately. He suggested you try some place like Lowes or Home Depot. If they have something in bulk, they might sell it for cheap. Good luck!

Right now Habitat for humanity has a whole bunch of differnt choices I think they are $1.50 a piece normally $2 they are on sale in the Tacoma store- you could call the seattle store and see if they have any in stock-- 2 mo ago they did- and pretty decent patterns too!
