Oh gosh this was so friggin cute. I loved how Alfred was so dense that she had to shove alfred's hands up her shirt xD And I *loved* the poem! It was so very fitting for this ♥

Thank you! :D And yeah, I figured that it would take nothing short of taking off her shirt for America to get it (even if she had straight up said 'I am a girl', Alfred would have prolly thought it was a joke. /sigh. But we love him anyway. <3).

I am so happy that I got their reactions right, I tend to agonize over characterization. And it is my firm belief that Alfred invented the word Adorkable. Which considering that word started in America, is probably the case. <3

And I am at the least planning on a sequel in Alfred's perspective, and maybe one in France's. Heck, I am tempted to have a whole one-shot ridden universe of this, because fem!Russia is FUN. (And really, I can only watch so many major countries be dudes before wanting one girl that isn't wearing a poofy dress).

And the world needs more girlallalong!Russia. Come on, Mother Bears rock.

We agree about girl!Russia (not that I don't like him as a dude, too). Dudes and hot boyxboy are fine as far as they go but....why is it SO EASY for me to see the 'girl all along' thing with Russia? Russia particularly (and maybe China).

And yeah, I love guy Russia as well, but as for how easy it is to see him as a girl... I think it has to do with how Moe he is most of the time. I mean, his love of sunflowers! His gentle way of speaking! Add to that the rounded, softened features and it just clicks for me. He is the cutest acting one of all the nations, including Hungary. Ok, Lichtenstein beats him, but no one acts cuter then Lichtenstein. (the slight insanity makes Russia awesome though. <3)

Alfred was ridiculously cute.
How he was trying to be all supportive of Ivan being a guy and totally not getting what she was saying, and then waiting until marriage for sex (does this mean he's a virgin) and proposing and, and then Vanya and France loving their guys' faults and Oh! Oh! I like that you didn't make Vanya a bombshell! Plain looking girls do exist!

And my headcanon is that America is a virgin, because I have a hard time picturing him with either France or England (they just make cuter big bro's for me), or Spain or Prussia. Add to that puritanism and the bible belt, and America's general taboo-ness about sex (having been to Brazil, it is just a very different environment some places), it just makes sense to me. XD

And yes, plain looking girls exist and they kick butt! :D Not that I don't appreciate RussianModel!Ivana time to time, but plain Russia is so much cuter. <3

Sooooooo cute! I enjoyed this very much! Makes so much sense for Russia to be a girl...of course, so should a America since in political cartoons America is always drawn as one....heck even England! But for sure Russia! I hope you continue writing Fem!Russia and America! ^3^

And it depends on the cartoons. America is most commonly represented by Uncle Sam in cartoons in the USA (though Canada was often shown as a woman in Canada, if memory serves... darn it, where can I find those hilarious pro-Canada dirtyOldMan!UncleSam old political comics?), so he is about 50/50. Might depends on where the comics are from, and what time period.

...Yes, I am a history nerd. The only reason I switched to a English major was because dates were boring. >.>
