Apologies for the lack of entries, and then lack of feedback on your comments. It doesn't mean I don't read 'em, I've just been preoccupied with work, the gym, friend matters, and sleep. I must say, good points made by you as well. I'm sure I'll touch upon this subject again, so we'll get to hear your other views eventually.

Thanks for reassuring me yet again that I'm not the only one who likes to take a realistic view on life and it's nuances.

the whole country isnt sooo bad....you just happen to live in the land of the ass-holes. i promise there are some respectable people out side of this "good" state of massachusettes. no offense to all you fellow massholes....but good god this place sucks.

Definitely agreein' on that one. They call us "Massholes" for a reason. Hopefully I can live somewhere cool like, say, New Orleans. Friend of mine at work wants me to apply to the Las Vegas police department with him. Interesting!

Good post, and the reason why so many break ups and marriages end up in the shiter is because many people rush into them too quickly with the wrong person. I myself am a very monogamous person so I enjoy being with someone in a relationship. The trick is, to find the right person and work together and if it works it works and good for people who do work out and live their entire lives devoted together. Why do bad things happen? One word, Human. We're human beings and we have a natural tendency to hurt. As I said in a previous post, you shouldn't give up on people and relationships, because, not all honorable and respectful people are gone, though they are hard to find; and if you just give up, not only are you letting them win, but you could be passing up a great opportunity that comes by.

I think the thing that keeps me in the game more than any other reason is the fact that if I give up, I'll lose out on something that I either missed or passed up. You're wise in pointing that out, cause many people seem to miss it along the way.

I'm just missin' the respectable people. Some would be quick to claim that I, in fact, am not "respectable." You'll notice that I never take an opinionated stance on such a view of myself; for all you low-grade writers, that means I don't rate myself. So it's up to public opinion to judge me. How else but democracy? :)
