This was my final show of the year. There were a few reasons why I wanted to have another show after the one on Friday, May 23. First, I wanted to give Billy Joel a fourth week as Artist of the Month before ending May. Second, since I had missed two shows while in Ireland, I wanted one last show before the year was over. So, I tried to pick song blocks that I really liked and, with the exception of the songs from Dashboard Confessional and Mest, I had a great show. Who knew that those Oasis compilations actually had some good songs?
Anyway, I hope you listened to this show but if you didn't, I'll be back in the fall. I plan to work intensely over the summer to prepare for next year so WECW continues to improve greatly. Please tune in the fall and see what we've got going on!
