     Well, I went to A-Kon 17 over the weekend as a vacation and birthday gift to myself.  I think I would have had more fun shooting myself in the foot, driving a rusty railroad spike through the wound and then walking to the hospital.  There were some rather bright points but even those were more ironic than I felt necessary so I can't really put
