1) Who would make a better college professor: 6, or 11?
hmm. tough call. they're both smart. Tetjin's part of an advanced humanoid race who've developed mech-suits for physical labor and Flint's a dwarf who uses his mind-computer to do all his hacking. they've both got the computer-tech stuff down cold, but neither of them are really good at teaching other people. i'd have to say Flint, just because he's got better people-skills.
2) Do you think 2 is hot? How hot?
umm... objectively, yes, if one likes the handsome, rugged, stubble-bearded space rogue type. not super-hot, but enough to get attention when he wants it.
3) 12 sends 8 on a mission. What is it, and does it succeed?
oh, gods. first off, the only mission Antonio would send any werewolf on is a mission to their next life. and if that's the case, it would succeed. as far as any other type of mission, he wouldn't send anyone. he'd barely be lucid enough to realize there's a mission to go on.
4) What is, or would be, 9's favorite book?
he has one, strangely enough. it's the book that's currently being translated for him; the one that will tell him how to lift the curse from the Sword of Ultimate Evil or whatever it's actually called that he's been carrying around ever since the Dragon showed up and gave it to him with the instructions "don't let me have this."
5) Would it make more sense for 2 to swear fealty to 6, or the other way around?
the other way around, just because Tetjin's a bit naive and Anders would make sure to come out on top of the deal.
6) For some reason, 5 is looking for a room-mate. Should they share a studio apartment with 9, or 10?
Lao Wei would never NEED an apartment, but if he had to get a roommate, Kaleki would cause the least personality conflict, so he would choose him. although, Wheels would be a good learning experience, and Lao Wei's all about those.
7) 2, 7, and 12 have dinner together. Where do they go, and what do they discuss?
Anders and Milo would go for something on the upper-end of the scale. a fine dining establishment, and the dinner conversation would probably be on the nature of freedom and the fight against oppression and things of that sort. Antonio would be a wild card. He would either kill everybody in the room, dinner companions included, or would babble to himself, or go catatonic and sit in a corner rocking back and forth. either way, he would contribute very little to the conversation, unless it turned to religious matters, in which case he would mutter some biblical verse about vengeance or death and go silent again.
8) 3 challenges 10 to a duel. What happens?
well, it would be a non-traditional duel, for both parties. if forced into one-on-one honorable combat against one another, Charlie, the devil-bloodline telepath fixer would win, only because he's had to pick up a few more survival tricks than Wheels, the rigger who's pretty much only useful in his van (or somewhere else where he can control his drones). neither side would want to kill the other, though; Charlie would spare Wheels' life for a favor, and make Wheels his new driver. set him up with a nice benefits package, a place to stay, and somewhere to tinker with his drones. and that's really all Wheels ever wanted.
9) If 1 stole 8's most precious possession, how would they get it back?
Nik, being an accomplished thief, probably could steal Snowlight's most prized possession, if she a) had any and b) wasn't in the Umbra at the time. so, snowlight doesn't have any prized possessions, but if she did, and it was stolen, she would call the rest of the pack, hunt down the thief, and string bits and pieces of him all over the street where they find him. even without the pack, there's not much a human with a crossbow can do against a pissed-off Crinos red talon.
10) Suggest a title for a story in which 7 and 12 both attain what they most desire.
Blood and Gold? or, more humorously, Death and Taxes. Antonio would be the one wanting blood/death, and milo's more about the gold, and the collecting of taxes from his small keep.
11) What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted 4 and 1 to work together?
first off, Nik would need to be in modern times (which would ROCK!) or Mr. Black would be on Eberron. i don't even want to START thinking about how that would happen, but assuming it did... Wagner needs to hire somebody skilled in the use of a crossbow for a security position.
12) If 7 visited you for the weekend, how would you get along?
well, i'd be the subject of a lot of tall jokes, probably moreso than usual, and milo would probably attempt to steal anything of value that i had.
13) If you could command 3 to perform any one task or service for you, what would it be?
well, i know that Charlie's got devil blood in him, and he's a con man, so i wouldn't ask him to do anything for me that might put me in his debt later. but i would probably ask him to set me up with a good job and a place in somewhere that isn't wisconsin. maybe amsterdam or the southwest u.s.
14) Does anyone on your friends list resemble 11 (either in appearance or personality)?
actually, no. not on my f-list. although... not by design, Flint's personality is somewhat similar to a friend of mine, who some of my f-list might know... jerry the programmer-guy. i kind of see flint getting on little kicks about computer stuff the way he does.
15) If 2 had to choose sides between 4 and 5, which would it be?
well, Anders is always looking out for number one, and Wagner's the type of guy who can provide. he's at least got something to offer, as opposed to an old man in brown robes and a floppy hat and literally nothing else.
16) What might 10 shout while charging into battle?
he wouldn't be 'charging into battle,' he'd be sending a drone or two. and would probably be saying something like "tango. rooftop. 20 meters northeast." or similar tactical observations that he gets from his drones.
17) If you chose a song to represent 8, which song would you choose?
i don't think Snowlight would have a monkey-made song. it would be a wolf-howl, probably something mournful for the packmates she's lost, angry for what the Wyrm is doing to the Mother, and placating for the spirits that constantly hover around her.
18) 1, 6, and 12 are having dim sum at a Chinese restaurant. There is only one scallion pancake left, and they all reach for it at the same time. Who gets to eat it?
Antonio has Celerity, but he's a vampire, so he doesn't need to eat. he might kill the other two for fun, though. Nik would definitely beat Tetjin to the last of the food, though.
19) What might be a good pick-up line for 2 to use on 10?
don't think there is one that magically makes the subject change sexual preference.
20) What would 5 most likely be arrested for?
nothing. i would like to meet the person/persons who would be able to arrest lao wei for anything, even if he would ever DO something arrestable in the first place.
21) What is 6's secret?
i guess it's a secret to everyone outside the SGC; he's an alien. other than that, he doesn't really have any. doesn't know the meaning of the word, actually.
22) If 11 and 9 were racing to a destination, who would get there first?
probably Kal'eki. Algai'd'siswai get improved speed and dwarves are stocky and short.
23) If you had to walk home through a bad neighborhood late at night, would you feel safer in the company of 7 or 8?
Snowlight would be a better protector if anything happened, but Milo would be the kind of guy who can lead you through a bad neighborhood late at night without anything bad happening.
24) 1 and 9 reluctantly team up to save the world from the threat posed by 4's sinister secret organization. 11 volunteers to help them, but it is later discovered that he/she is actually a spy for 4. Meanwhile, 4 has kidnapped 12 in an attempt to force their surrender. Following the wise advice of 5, they seek out 3, who gives them what they need to complete their quest. What title would you give this fic?
i can't. it would be horrible cross-genre fiction that should never exist. (although the bit about Lao Wei having 'wise advice' is appropriate, as is Charlie having 'what they need to complete their quest')
