Oh my Lord - take this with the grain of salt that you should being that I'm a n00b to your life/journal, but if the one behind that poem/letter is the LEAST bit attractive to you, he's a keeper - you won't find understanding like that from a whole lot of people in this world.
In fact (he said, as he rambunctiously broke netiquette by replying to his own comment), I can demonstrate to you immediately why this person is a keeper:
Read the poem/letter to yourself again, and try to notice all of times that the author COULD have used the word 'I', but didn't. This is a MAJOR demonstratement of unselfishness, which is key in a lover, let alone a love.
Hi there. I'm actually with someone and it's going really well, but I'm saving that letter from " -e" just in case. It's good to have a backup. I have his picture, and anyone with the moral courage to wear plaid and stripes together is a winner in my book.
