Mostly only when they're doing it. The anesthetic makes you drool. Swelling'll happen for a week or so, which might give you something of a lisp, and the aftercare is a little more tedious than most piercings. It is a lot of trouble, but they heal well, and they look hot. You'd have to ask Shiraishi and Kenya-sempai about benefits from the other side, but I hear it's good.
