I totally agree. I was hesitant about the movie with the whole Tom Cruise losing his mind thing, but I wanted to see Ethan Hunt, not Tom Cruise. I so loved the movie. Billy Crudup, yummy. Jonathan Rhys Meyers, yummy-yummy. Explosions, ultimate yummy. Phillip Seymour Hoffman, slick-cool-evil. I will be seeing this one again. Ditto on the kick-ass!
