This guy's an absolute nutcase. Check out his legislative history. Tried to shut down toll collection, tried to declare public schools unconstitutional, tried to sue the federal government for not accepting gold as legal tender... same guy who tried to have the word "victim" struck from rape cases and replaced with "accuser"... The list is endless.

I strongly suspect that the only reason the Democrats don't just call him on being a total Martian is because they get to throw a fundraiser every time he opens his mouth. He's in a tiny, ultra-conservative, ultra-religious district, and he's so far off base that he never manages to do anything besides panic people, so they don't bother trying to unseat him.

seriously. Total nut job. I'm not overly worried about it passing. I mean, if Utah failed, I don't know where it would pass. But just the fact that it got that far is ridiculous. That the moron can even think it's a reasonable and good request/idea.
