I love the 50s for comfort food. My absolute favorite dip is a combination of onion, ketchup, French dressing, and cream cheese. No kidding.

If I showed this to my mom, I bet it would be almost identical to the recipe she uses. it's good stuff, especially when the ketchup congeals and gets dark and chewy and... mmmm.
