We've just started watching Battlestar Gallactica and I'm concerned. First of all its a great show. Im surprised by the acting, I mean all this talent outa nowhere is kinda unexpected. for a certain crackpot cartoonist, the entire world stops when BSG is on....(laugh)...you can meet him again next week at FC.

not so much about plot per se---just an encyclopedic knowledge of the characters...

will be good to see you again....

The final Cylon was just revealed on Friday, and I guarantee you you won't be able to figure it out. I sure as hell couldn't.

I've watched Season One. I loved it (after getting over the initial changes they made from the old series...yes, I'm old enough to have watched it, and loved it when I was a wee one...although I do try to forget Battlestar Galactica: 1980..ugh shudder). I've not had a chance to sit and watch any more however. A couple of my friends poo-poo'd the second and third seasons. But I'll reserve any comments until I watch them.
But on the idea of the glide/flying, watch some of the 'old' (oi, that hurts to type) Babylon 5 episodes where they show the Star Furies flying. It was awesome and realistic (especially the way the had the engines mounted so the ships could turn on a dime!)
