Actually, before I even attempt to get into this one, there are a few housekeeping things I have to take care of.

First, a VERY happy belated birthday to ih8stupidppul. And apparently from one of her posts, it certainly was ( Read more... )

Well, just when you think you're having the worst day, read back through my last few entries. That should restore that smile. :-D Besides, how back could it be when you can always go back to the memories of...

Yea, you're right. Like I said sleep deprivation will do HORRIBLE things to me. And this roller coaster I'm on just doesn't get any better. But at least I have the highs and hopefully will continue to have them!

Just be glad you're no where near my roller coaster. It just got a whole lot worse.

You should have thought about the hand jobs for crack before you went to school, because in jail they will pay for it!

I hope the guy in Career Services surprises you. Something will turn around soon. Very rarely does life suck completely for very long, and if that happens at least know you are special!

Gee. They'll pay for it in jail. I guess killing the neighbors can benefit me in more ways than one. :-)

They won't surprise me at that school. They've got my info and my updated resume, but I won't expect much more than a pity call within a few weeks about something that I'll never get, just like all the other times. If life doesn't not suck completely for very long, then I've REALLY got to be throwing off the curve.

What kind of math was it? I probably am not going to do very well if I'm given a math test soon 'cause I haven't taken any math courses in at least 2 years. *sigh* And I love math, but there's a lot to remember, and if you don't practice, it sucks 'cause you'll forget.

*hugs*
Sorry it turned to shit. :/

Stuff like...

Company A sells a product for $3000. We normally get a 40% discount on the product. Customer X wants to buy the product from us, but they want a 30% discount from us. Given that there is normally a 20% markup does this transaction make sense to make?

Or something like that. I can't remember the question exactly. A lot of stuff with markup and discounts and costs. And I'm good at all that stuff, and I blew it badly. I mean it was embarrassing sitting there with this guy telling me that "it's all wrong...I don't know what you were thinking." Maybe I should just get my car fixed and get a driving job that pays.

Wow, but that reaction alone, his reaction, to just tell you that to your face, ahhhh not professional and very, very sad HR or management skills. Sometimes the HR doesn't know where to base their importance and they relate it to little things. Like if you don't know this, you won't be able to do your job. Some of the things are too specific to apply general guidelines to them, and it's not like you've worked for them before. However, they cannot comprehend this. That was an idiot anyway.

Well, he said the company that he was trying to fill this position for bases who they will hire (or at least have come in for an additional interview) heavily on that test and the rest on the person. If you did bad on that test, you could be god himself and you wouldn't get that job. It's a shame too, because I could have been looking at six figures within two years. Such is my luck.
