Back home again in Indiana

What a bittersweet mixture of comfortable relief and deep, deep longing for the state I left behind! Christine picked me up at the airport, neither of us had to wait a minute for the other, and we had a good drive home. Ate at IHOP before going our separate ways. We let a lot of years pass without keeping in touch like we should. She has a successful ad agency and a young daughter, she's married to Gary, a tv anchor, and I was busy too ( ... )

Johns always talking about $99 flights to Indy. Chuck visited in 2003. He's talking about coming out again this summer. I may come back for my high school reunion in July, but thats still up in the air. I'll most likely come back by myself because we'd never fly together.
